Credits & licenses
LLUCAMPS is built from publicly-available campsite data. Every record carries its source and license. Nothing is scraped from non-permissive sites.

OpenStreetMap
License: Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0
Community-mapped campsites, including dispersed/primitive sites not in federal databases. Includes ways and relations (sites mapped as polygons), not just points.
OpenStreetMap (ODbL) notice
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. The derived campsite database bundled with this app contains substantial extracts of OpenStreetMap data and is itself a Derivative Database under the ODbL. It is available under the same terms on request; contact the developer through the bug-report form in Settings or via email llucampsmain@gmail.com.
What we do not use
We do not include data from FreeCampsites, iOverlander, Campendium, The Dyrt, or other community sites whose terms restrict redistribution or downstream commercial use. Their data is excellent — please use them directly.
Map tiles
Map tile rendering is provided by third-party tile servers (chosen in Settings → Map style). Tile providers carry their own attribution, displayed on the map itself.
Open-source libraries
LLUCAMPS is built with React Native, Expo, MapLibre Native,
SQLite (FTS5), and many other open-source libraries. The full
dependency list with licenses is in the project's
package.json.
